CT Chiefs Players of the Week

Congratulations to Cameron Hayes, the U7 Player of the Week. Like his idol, Tampa Bay Lightning star forward, Nikita Kucherov,
Cam has been consistently lighting the lamp for the Chiefs U7s. Over the last four games, Cam has tallied 5 goals. His hard work on both ends of the ice has helped the U7s to very strong games all season long, but particularly over the last four matchups. Over that span, the team has really picked it up with some dramatic improvement. That improvement is in no small part due to Cam’s outstanding contribution to the team’s success. Congratulations to this week’s U7 Player of the Week, Cameron Hayes.

Congratulations to Korey Harrington, the U8 Player of the Week. Korey’s play and confidence have steadily increased throughout the season. He’s seen marked improvement in both his hockey skills and strength in his skating. At this weekend's tournament in New Hampshire, Korey proved to be a valuable player to his team on both ends of the ice earning him this week’s honor. Congratulations to Korey Harrington, for being named this week’s U8 Player of the Week.
Honorable Mention: Jacob Perlow, U8 Black

Congratulations to Jacob Pelow for being named U8 Player of the Week. Jacob had a breakout performance this past weekend for the U8 Black. Pelow was possessed with hunting down pucks all weekend. He led the team in scoring by driving the net and making solid plays all over the ice. With a weekend like that, it’s no surprise that Jacob Pelow is the CT Chiefs’ U8 Player of the Week.

Congrats to Nolan Derosiers, the CT Chiefs’ Squirt Player of the Week. A right-handed, centerman, Nolan was a key player in the U9 Black winning the Championship at the Cyclones MLK Tournament this past weekend. Nolan led the way in scoring by being a point registering machine tallying 8 points in 3 games. Nolan’s defensive efforts have provided a next level dimension to the team which also has been a contributing factor to his team’s overall success. Congratulations to Nolan Derosiers for his selection as this week’s CT Chiefs’ Squirt Player of the Week.

Congratulations to Wyatt Kelly on his being named the CT Chiefs’ Pee Wee Player of the Week. Wyatt had 3 points in the Chiefs’ U12s’ two wins against the Walpole Express as the 12s continue to work their way up the standings. Wyatt is a solid two-way player who can go up and down the ice supporting his teammates. He sees the ice very well, makes timely passes and accurate passes up the ice to get his teammates scoring opportunities. Wyatt also has a knack for putting the puck in the back of the net.
Congratulations to Wyatt Kelly on his being named this week’s CT Chiefs’ Pee Wee Player of the Week.
Honorable Mention – Adam Kochawi – U11

Congrats to this week’s CT Chiefs’ Bantam Player of the Week, Cowen Allen.
A versatile player, having spent time both on defense and as a forward this season, Cowen scored two goals on Saturday in the U14 Chiefs win over the Walpole Express.
Cowen’s silky mitts and skilled play allowed him to score two game changers shifting the momentum of the game and allowing the Chiefs to come out on top.
Cowen is hard-working, very coachable, and a positive influence on the bench while always encouraging his teammates.
Congratulations to the CT Chiefs’ Bantam Player of the Week, Cowen Allen.

Congratulations to CT Chief’s U16 Player of the Week, Judah Wanner. Coach Andy Scott said of Judah, "He had a rare hat trick as a defenseman on Monday as the Chiefs defeated Elite Academy 7-1. He was also instrumental in the Chiefs earning a split with the second place North Jersey Avalanche on Saturday and Sunday. As well as quarterbacking the top power play unit, he also logged heavy minutes five-on-five and on the penalty kill." Busy week for a talented hockey player and that is why we Congratulate Judah Wanner, the CT Chiefs’ U16 Player of the Week.
